Privacy Policy

Marrakech Select (“we”, “us”) operates this website and the booking service described on it. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the site or book our services, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have.

Marrakech Select is the service provider you contract with. To deliver the services we advertise — airport transfers, private drivers, city tours, intercity trips, excursions and activities — we work with independent partner agencies that own or control vehicles, drivers and other operational resources. See “Who receives your data” below.

1. Who is responsible, and how to reach us

The controller is Marrakech Select, Marrakech, Morocco. You can reach us at the email address and phone number published in the footer of every page and on our Legal Notices page, or through the contact form on this site.

Our corporate identifiers (legal form, RC and ICE numbers) are listed on the Legal Notices page. Any identifier still shown there as “to be provided” has not yet been confirmed by us for publication.

2. What data we collect

  • Booking requests: your name, email address, phone number, requested date and time, pickup and destination, flight number (airport transfers), number of passengers and bags, child-seat requirements with the ages or weights you give us for them, any service notes you write, and the vehicle you prefer.
  • Enquiries: when you use the contact or quote form, your name, email address, optional phone number and your message.
  • Service records: the booking reference we assign, the price we quote, the vehicle and driver assigned, payment records (method, amount, status) and the invoice issued for your booking.
  • Email records: the delivery status of the emails we send you, so we can follow up when an email fails.
  • Access accounts: accounts for the people authorised to run the service — our team and, where their role requires it, partner-agency personnel.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To organise, confirm and deliver the service you request — the performance of the contract we conclude with you when we send the confirmation email.
  • To communicate with you about your request and your booking — performance of the contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries you send us.
  • To invoice you and keep accounting records — our legal obligations in Morocco.
  • To keep the platform and your data secure — our legitimate interest in protecting the service.

We do not send marketing emails, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

4. Who receives your data

Partner agencies and drivers. The service you book is delivered with resources provided by independent partner agencies under business-to-business agreements with us. The partner agency and the driver assigned to your service receive the details needed to carry it out: your name and phone number, pickup time and place, destination, flight number where relevant, party size, child-seat needs and any service notes necessary for the service. They may not use your data for anything else.

Service providers. We use an email provider to send booking emails and confirmations, and a hosting provider to run the site. They process data on our instructions.

Authorities and professionals. Where the law requires it — for example tax or accounting obligations — we share what is necessary with accountants, auditors or public authorities.

5. Data outside Morocco

Our email provider processes emails on infrastructure that operates outside Morocco. Transfers of personal data abroad are made only on the grounds permitted by Law 09-08 — including where the transfer is necessary to perform the contract we have with you — and our use of providers abroad is limited to what the service requires. The hosting provider is named on our Legal Notices page.

A declaration of our processing operations is made to Morocco’s data-protection authority (CNDP). The declaration reference will be published here once the receipt has been issued.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking, client and invoice records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet Moroccan accounting and tax obligations. Enquiries are kept while we handle them, and afterwards only insofar as they are a useful record of what we agreed. You can ask us to erase data we no longer need — see “Your rights”.

7. Your rights

Under Law 09-08 you can ask for access to your data, have it corrected, or object to its processing. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing, you additionally have the rights of erasure, restriction and portability, and you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any right, write to the email address published in the footer and on our Legal Notices page, or use the contact form. We answer within a reasonable time and never charge for a first request.

8. Security

Personal data is protected in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised personnel, and each person can see only the data their work requires. We keep the data we hold to the minimum needed to run the service, and we review these measures regularly.

9. Children and sensitive details

Booking requests must be made by an adult. We collect a child’s age or weight only when you ask for child seats — this is needed to fit the right seat safely — and we do not use it for anything else.

Please do not put sensitive information (for example details about health, religion or ethnicity) in free-text fields such as service notes. If you do include something like that anyway, we use it only to deliver the service safely.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update this page and the date at the top.
